Millstone Veterinary Clinic, PLLC

Welcome to the Millstone Veterinary Clinic. Built in 1986 and opened in 1987, the clinic had grown from a small practice with one doctor working only part time to a busy practice with three full time doctors. We are down to only 2 doctors now and soon we will be back to only 1 doctor. Appointments are limited so at this time we are not taking  new clients.

We are located approximately 3 miles south of Dundee, NY on Rt. 14A.

  • Dr. Susan Collins

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Susan Collins is the owner of Millstone Veterinary Clinic.  She is originally from Buffalo, NY then relocated to Penn Yan, NY after graduating from Cornell University with her DVM in 1979. Dr. Collins spent a few years practicing as a mixed animal practitioner then moved to small animal medicine.  After getting married she decided to move to the area with her husband and opened Millstone Veterinary Clinic in January 1987.  While running the only Veterinary Clinic in Dundee she also raised her 4 children, helped her husband run a family farm, and devoted 20 years serving numerous positions in Rotary to give back to her community.  In her free time Dr. Collins loves visiting with her children and grandchildren.

  • Jessica

    Veterinary Technician

    Jessica joined the Millstone Veterinary team in June of 2020.  Once graduating high school she thought she wanted to attend Ithaca College for their physical therapy program but after attending a year decided her true passion was caring for animals. 

    After choosing the path that was meant for her she graduated from Alfred State College with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology.  She began to do what she really loves: caring for patients in hospital, educating owner, and running lab work. 

    Her home is shared with four cats (Daisy, Maddie, Miles, and Wilbur), hermit crabs, fish, rats (Abby and Ellie), rabbit (Winston), leopard gecko (Gunner), bearded dragon (Charlie), guinea pigs (Olive and Ginger), and 2 dogs (Daisy and Dozer).

  • Billie Jo

    Receptionist

    Billie Jo joined or team in August of 2020.  Prior to working at Millstone she worked at Denny’s Restaurant for 20 years as a General Manager.  She has loved the change in her career and helping to care for your pets.  At home Billie Jo lives with her fiancée and 2 dogs (Zariah and Mya).  She is also a mother to 4 grown children.

    Kaitlin

        Veterinary Technician

    Kaitlin joined our team in November of 2021. She always knew she wanted to work with animals and pursued her passion and love for them by attending Alfred State College for Veterinary Technology. She Graduated in May of 2021. She will be taking her boards soon to become a  Licensed  Veterinary Technician. Kaitlin likes to spend time with her 2 dogs (Bentley and Baxter), one cat (Mango) and 1 bunny (Paul).
